IMPORTANT NOTICE

Plagiarism (as defined in Longman Dictionary): when someone uses another person's words, ideas, or work and pretends they are their own; an idea, phrase, or story that has been copied from another person's work, without stating where it came from.

Our university has severe penalties against the use of someone else's ideas, viewpoints, findings or words in a paper, project report or any similar document, which is presented as part of a course requirement, without proper acknowledgement of the source. Similarly, to submit any homework, project, report, term paper or thesis, which has been prepared by someone else as one's own work with or without amendments, and to present in a thesis someone else's ideas or findings without the acknowledgement of the source may attract severe penalties by the university.
